UKBJJA Kids League Scotland 2022 - Leg 1
The UKBJJA proudly present the 2022 UKBJJA Scottish Kids League First Leg.
The UKBJJA proudly present the first leg of the 2022 UKBJJA Scottish Kids League.
The event will take place at Cluarankwai Judo Club , Kilmarnock Scotland.
The event is open to all junior and juvenile competitors. Athletes must be UKBJJA members to participate in this event. Membership cost is £15 for the 12 month period.
Entry for the competition is £10. All divisions will be run on a double elimination basis to ensure all kids are guaranteed at least two matches.
In the event of us being unable to match a child in their selected weight/ age category we will in discussion with the child's coach offer either moving up one weight bracket or (not and) age bracket to ensure they get matched. Belts will not be mixed under any circumstances. We will not consider merging gender groups. In the event we can not safely match your child a full refund will be issued.
Full refunds will be given for any athlete who withdraws from the event prior to the close of entries on midnight of Saturday 5th of March.
The final deadline for any changes to entries is midnight on Saturday the 12th of March.
If a child looks unlikely to make weight then please ensure you change their category prior to the 12th of March. No child who does not make the weight for a category will be allowed to compete in that category and we can not guarantee safe matches will be available at a higher weight/age on the day. No refunds will be given if a child does not make weight and we have no safe matches to offer.

10am Weigh-ins & ID Check (ID clearly showing Date of Birth must be provided for all participants)
11am First match ups
All officials will be ranked at least UKBJJA Level 2.
Respect Rule
This event has a zero tolerance policy regarding inappropriate behavior by coaches, parents/guardians, spectators and competitors.
All in attendance must show some restraint when their students or team mates are fighting. There will be competitors and spectators of all ages at this event and we are here to set an example.
Any swearing, inappropriate gestures, violence (towards person or property) or berating the officials (regardless of any decisions they make) will not be tolerated.
If this happens, the referee/organiser has the right to disqualify that competitor, or to ask the person concerned to leave the area. If those concerned do not comply with the referee/organisers request the competitor will be disqualified from the event.
If a coach, parent or team mate encroaches onto the mat, or past any barriers that are in place, or man handles an official in any way, that person will be asked to leave the venue and the whole team may not be permitted to take any further part in the competition
